We clean the work area upon completion, ensuring the vegetation gets uncovered as quickly as possible to prevent any damage.  Power washing your home's exterior removes dirt and mildew from the surface, making the surface ready for the primer and ensuring the paint adheres to the surface. Power washing can be used on vinyl, aluminum, cedar, and painted siding. The house will have time to dry out after washing to ensure all moisture is eliminated prior to painting. While the house dries, we scrape and sand all loose paint and clean the area of paint chips before we start applying the primer.

The first step is to strip the deck of graying and decaying wood by power washing the deck using detergents that chemically strip the surface. The chemicals used will not harm your delicate foliage. If some of the planks are decaying, we can replace them prior to sealing.  A deck may splinter if the wood has started to decay. We can drum sand the deck to restore and level the surface before applying the sealer. Deck floors should be rinsed, and recoated every 12 - 24 months depending on sun exposure.
